Select Tools->Extension or Tools->Add-ons to see if you have successfully installed and enabled Finjan SecureBrowsing.

 

Internet Explorer:

• Make sure that you have Finjan SecureBrowsing button enabled on your Internet Explorer by selecting View->Toolbars-> Finjan Secure Browsing.
• Make sure that you have enabled third-party extensions in Internet Explorer by selecting Tools->Internet Options->Advanced. Under Browsing, select Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart).
• Make sure that you have Finjan SecureBrowsing enabled in your Internet Explorer by selecting Tools->Internet Options->Programs->Manage Add-ons.

A: You can browse to URLs while they are still under inspection by Finjan SecureBrowsing system by selecting Options->Allow access to unchecked URLs in the drop-down menu of the Finjan SecureBrowsing button.

Q: Can Finjan SecureBrowsing mark potentially malicious URLs (red icon) only?
A: Yes. Finjan SecureBrowsing can add red icons next to potentially malicious URLs while discarding legitimate ones. You can do that by selecting Options->Show unsafe/red URLs only in the drop-down menu of the Finjan SecureBrowsing button.

A: You can disable Finjan SecureBrowsing by selecting Disable Finjan SecureBrowsing in the drop-down menu of the Finjan SecureBrowsing button. To enable Finjan SecureBrowsing, select Enable Finjan SecureBrowsing in the drop-down menu of the Finjan SecureBrowsing button.

A: If you are using Internet Explorer, you may have set Internet Explorer to hide pictures. To show pictures on Internet Explorer, select Tools->Internet Options->Advanced. In the Advanced tab, make sure that you have selected Show pictures under Multimedia.

Q: How do I uninstall Finjan SecureBrowsing?
A: To uninstall Finjan SecureBrowsing:

Close all browser windows.

Internet Explorer:

1. Go to Start->Control Panel.
2. In Control Panel, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
3. In Add or Remove Programs, select Finjan Secure Browsing and click the Remove button.
4. Click Uninstall on the uninstall wizard dialog.

FireFox:

1. Go to Tools->Add-ons.
2. Click Uninstall next to the Finjan SecureBrowsing line.
